Each student and two family members are invited to attend these semi-formal ceremonies to celebrate their hard work throughout the school year. Students are recognized at the ceremony if they have achieved academic recognitions at any of the previous quarters: Q1, Q2 and/or Q3. Invitations have been sent home with your student.
Students will need to wear navy blue pants (jeans are fine) and white shirts to school that day. Adult attire is business casual. Students will be called out to receive a certificate of achievement and to receive a hearty congratulatory handshake from the Principal. Students will also be recognized for achieving notable results in programs such as Reflections, NC Science Olympiad, All-County Band, etc. Also, honors will be bestowed upon students who consistently demonstrate outstanding character in the classroom. Parent volunteers are needed to hand out programs, set up and clean up the doughnut and water tables. Please sign up here: Academic Recognitions Ceremonies
And, as usual, we will need donations of dozens of doughnuts and water to feed the kids! Please bring your items with you to the ceremony.
If your last name begins with A-M, please provide 12 small water bottles.
If your last name begins with N-Z, please provide one dozen doughnuts.
